Joining process

Join Egg Academy in four steps -- pick a departure date, sign up as Family, family check-in, then Starter Course on your intake day.

New creators do not start on any random day. They board the next train -- a scheduled Starter Course intake where a small cohort begins Egg-Xplore together.

What is a train departure?

We use a train metaphor for Starter Course intakes. Each departure is a start date when a new small group begins the 10-week Egg-Xplore path together -- same weekly challenge, same facilitator, building from week one.

After Egg-Xplore, teens can continue into weekday Community Access sessions ($40/month).

Steps to join

  1. Explore (optional) -- read how Egg Academy works, how the Starter Course works, or observe a live session.
  2. Sign up as Family -- register interest or book a free live tour. We answer questions before anything is booked.
  3. Family check-in -- a short online call with a parent present. We say hi, learn what your teen is interested in, and confirm a real person is joining.
  4. Enrol in the Starter Course -- choose the next train departure that suits your family ($249 + GST, 10 weeks).
  5. First session -- your teen joins their cohort on the intake date (Mon-Thu, 4-6pm NZ). New creators start with other new creators. Check the 10-week table for this week's app if seeing it ahead of time helps. The icebreaker is a key part of the session, designed so new creators land smoothly. You can help them get going at the start -- after a while they will be away and running on their own.
